Basically made the recipe as written, but substituted garlic powder for the garlic salt and added onion powder, white pepper and a dash of chili powder to the chops before browning. Also substituted the water with liquid Maggi seasoning and milk. Served over rice with a side salad. Will definitely be making again. Thanks for sharing!
This was fantastic. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a bit much cucumber for my personal taste, but I took a few slices out and it was just perfect. It's in the permanent recipe box now.Update: I made this again tonight. I had to substitute onions and garlic for the shallots because they were what I had and I used half a cucumber. My curry paste wasn’t very spicy, so I added some crushed red pepper for kick, a dash of fish sauce for some extra umami and topped with some fresh cilantro. Thanks for sharing!

So different and delicious! We do theme nights most weekends with our neighbors. We all love snacks and dips. I wanted something along those lines for our Asian theme night. It did not disappoint. Served it with snow peas, baby carrots, sliced radishes and yellow bell pepper slices. Will definitely keep this one for our rotation and probably as a marinade too.
This is an amazing white sauce. The only change I made was that I made my own pizza dough in my breadmaker and let it rise for a few hours and hubby added the toppings of his choice (sausage, mushrooms, fresh basil and onions). This sauce makes a lot, so I used the leftover to make a delicious pasta. Marinated 2 chicken breasts (cut into 1 inch cubes) in Italian dressing. Sautéed the chicken breasts in a skillet while I had bowtie pasta boiling, added the leftover white sauce to the chicken and then added the pasta with a little pasta water to the chicken and sauce. Topped with Parmesan and fresh basil. So delicious!! I will be using this recipe again and again. Thanks so much for sharing!I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the pizza because we had quite a few hungry party guests and it was devoured within minutes. I did take a pic of the pasta, so I hope it’s okay to post that instead.
This is delicious! What a great way to use up excess tomatoes during growing season. I cooked it as the recipe stated with only 2 modifications. I used half of the mayo and substituted the other half with sour cream (we’re huge sour cream fans) and I sprinkled the top with a little extra Parmesan. I cooked as directed, then put it under the broiler for a couple of minutes to brown up the cheese. This was a huge hit and I will definitely make it again.
